NYGREN SYSTEMS

A Software Development Firm

Serving the Integrated Circuit Lithography community since 1985

Company Background

Nygren Systems was founded in 1985 by Phillip Nygren to provide software development and system design consulting services to firms in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment marketplace.

Mr. Nygren received a BS degree in Physics from Caltech and completed post-graduate work in Physics at the University of Chicago, then spent 10 years as a software developer and project leader at such high-profile companies as Hewlett Packard, and KLA-Tencor. Realizing that companies often benefit from the use of outside, specialized, talent who can bring a fresh eye and new resources to design problems, Mr. Nygren left KLA-Tencor in 1985 and began a successful career as a software consultant.

Since 1985, Nygren Systems has provided software design services to a number of Bay Area companies including Intel, Applied Materials, KLA-Tencor, Etec Systems, and PDF Solutions. The firm specializes in real-time embedded software design for UNIX/Linux, Windows, and VxWorks platforms.

Mr. Nygren has completed Nygren Systems first in-house development project, HDP2000. The initial version runs under Windows and Solaris. Links to HDP2000 product information can be found below.
